San Diego Earthworks Earth Award

San Diego EarthWorks embraces participation that increases awareness, encourages leadership, and inspires action toward a healthy, prosperous and sustainable future for all living things. They produce the annual EarthFair, a forum for environmental education, awareness and celebration, and GreenBuilt Tour.

San Diego Coastkeeper protects the region's bays, beaches, watersheds and ocean for the people and wildlife that depend on them. They balance community outreach, education, and advocacy to promote stewardship of clean water and a healthy coastal ecosystem.

Lakeside River Park Conservancy

The mission of the Lakeside River Park Conservancy is to preserve and restore the biological integrity and beauty of the San Diego River while integrating recreational, educational, and cultural opportunities.

I Love A Clean San Diego

I Love A Clean San Diego works to promote regional awareness of environmental issues including resource conservation, waste reduction and recycling, community enhancement, and pollution prevention.

SANDAG is the San Diego region's primary public planning, transportation, transit construction, and research agency, providing the public forum for regional policy decisions about growth, transportation planning and transit construction, environmental management, housing, open space, energy, public safety, and binational topics. SANDAG's promotes National Rideshare Week annually.

Tecolote Canyon Nature Center

The Friends of Tecolote Canyon is a non-profit environmental organization created for studying, exploring and maintaining the integrity of the natural ecosystem and habitat of the canyon area. The organization holds re-habitation, reparation, and cleanup projects throughout the year to benefit the park.
